THE KNOWING

End of one week. Beginning of another. THE KNOWING.

Recently, I was speaking to my mentor, a woman that started an organization that embraces the power of the feminine divine, the grappling behind breaking barriers, the work behind walking away from what does not serve us, rising-up, and living into and delivering on our own agency, our own femininity.

The accountability and responsibility to this is fierce and hard. It requires a lot of reworking of old stories, forgiveness, letting go, embracing the unknown, uncomfortableness, the feels, but most importantly finding your own authentic speed. WHEN WE FIND OUR AUTHENTIC SPEED, WE FIND OUR INTUITIVE KNOWING.

This year has been nothing BUT constant moving. Moving from cities, between career roles, moving to start, to end, to fulfill, to let go.  It has encompassed the speed of doing, of covering up, of constantly working, of frantically organizing, the speed of speed.

However, we never find answers or our authentic selves in speed. In fact, we find separateness in speed, instead of togetherness. Where we find unity, the conversation, the connectedness is in stillness. In the calm. This is where the knowing lives. This is where heart beats are heard, where truth aligns, where our individual and authentic agency shines.

Our agencies are our paths. They are nobody else’s path. Our agency is our loving, our leadership, our bravery, our unfettered, untamed joy, our calmness.

As we approach more of the same and less of the same, our agency needs to become our greatest light, our greatest bond to self and others.

With that the quote of the week:

“When we let ourselves feel, our inner self transforms. When we act upon our KNOWING and imagination, our outer worlds transform. Living from the worlds within us will change our outer worlds. Here’s the rub: destruction is essential to construction. If we want to build the new, we must be willing to let the old burn. We must be committed to holding onto nothing but the truth . . . Because once we feel, know, and dare to imagine more for ourselves, we cannot unfeel, unknow, or unimagine.” – Glennon Dale (from the book “Untamed”).
